Directions
1. From the GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE
Go West (I-80) until you intersect with the Garden State Parkway (South)
Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 135 (Westfield - Clark Exit)
Continue to follow the appropriate directions from #4.
2. From the LINCOLN TUNNEL
Go West on Route 3 to the Garden State Parkway (South)
Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 135 (Westfield - Clark Exit)
Continue to follow the appropriate directions from #4.
3. From the HOLLAND TUNNEL
On exiting tunnel, follow NJ Turnpike (South) signs
Take the NJ Turnpike South to Exit #14 (Newark Airport)
Follow signs to Rt. 22 West.
Continue to follow the appropriate directions listed from #5.
4. From the NORTH or SOUTH
Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 135 (Westfield - Clark Exit)
Follow Westfield signs around the circle onto Central Avenue.
Follow Central Avenue to the end where it forms a T-intersection with E. Broad St.
Turn right onto E. Broad Street, then immediately left onto Mountain Ave.
The church is on the right.
There is a parking lot on the left directly opposite the church. The church parking lot is a little further on the right.
5. FROM THE EAST (ROUTE 22)
Follow Route 22 West.
Make a U-turn onto 22 East, just past Echo Lake County Park at the Westfield Exit sign. (U-turn is the second after the
New York City U-turn). Turn right onto Mountain Ave. Continue to church.
6. From the EAST or WEST (Route 78)
Follow Route 78 to Exit 41, Scotch Plains.
Follow signs to Route 22 East.
Take Route 22 East to Lawrence Avenue.
From Lawrence Avenue, follow directions below.
7. FROM THE WEST (Route 22)
Follow Route 22 East.
Pass Plainfield. Pass Park Avenue, Scotch Plains. Pass Mountain Avenue, Scotch Plains.
Turn right onto Lawrence Avenue.
Follow Lawrence Avenue to where it merges onto Mountain Avenue.
Turn right onto Mountain Avenue.
8. BY TRAIN (NJ Transit)
NY Penn Station to Newark Penn Station (NJ Coast Line or Northeast Corridor Line).
At Newark change to Raritan Valley Line.
At Westfield Station, get out on North Side of the track.
Go straight down Elm Street (at the traffic light) for 2 blocks to E. Broad Street.
Turn right onto E. Broad Street and walk 1 block.
Turn left onto Mountain Avenue. Church on Right. (5 minutes from the station)
Parking
There are two convenient parking lots for The Presbyterian Church in Westfield.
There is an entrance to a municipal parking lot across the street from the church
that offers free parking after 7:00pm. There is also a free parking lot behind the church.
